1.1. Methods and currency
Payments are taken by our Merchant of Record using major card schemes and supported wallets. Prices may be displayed in QAR with settlement in the processor's supported currency.
EMKAY never stores full card numbers. Card data is handled solely by the payment processor under PCI-DSS.
2.2. Taxes and invoices
Prices are stated exclusive of any applicable taxes unless indicated otherwise. Taxes are calculated and collected by the Merchant of Record based on your billing location.
Invoices are issued electronically and available from Settings → Billing.
3.3. Property payments
EMKAY does not process rent, deposits, purchase prices or brokerage commission. Any such payment is made directly to the professional or owner outside the Platform, at your own risk.
4.4. Chargebacks and disputes
Raise a billing concern with us first — most issues are resolved within five business days.
Where a chargeback is raised without contacting us, paid features may be suspended pending resolution, and we may recover reasonable processing costs.
5.Governing law & jurisdiction
This policy and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar.
The courts of the State of Qatar have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights available to you.
Where a provision is found unenforceable under Qatari law, it is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
